We are a small group of friends who are doing the 1-80 progression one untwinked level at a time, seeing the old world as it was meant to be seen while seeing all the bits of the newer world we may have missed.

We group once a week on the Luclin server, Fridays at 7PM Eastern Time.

We are not currently recruiting, but we're always interested in meeting new friends and if there is interest, we will make a third progression group.

Regardless of whether or not you want to play in one of the progression groups, if you just want to hang out with a bunch of friendly people and are fairly low level, we'd love to see you in guild chat, once we get the guild made.

Register and leave a message here if you'd like to join!

We may have a sixth, but at least two people have informed me that they won't be able to make it every Friday night, and for certain there will be other people who can't make it so yeah, I'd LOVE to have you along. If there's enough interest, we can make two static groups which would be simply amazingly great, since the two groups could go their own paths depending on what everyone wanted to do, and then come together for those times when one group simply won't do.

If there's too many for one group, I and likely others would definitely make some new characters to fill a second group until more people joined. After all, I'm sure some of us would like to play more than one day a week Smiley I know I would, and I have Saturday free as well!

Welcome aboard! Add yourself to the "Who are you?" post if you could.

Hi Tipa!

This is SUCH a great idea. I've been reading your blog for a while, and seeing all those great old EQ Banners has really gotten me to thinking of the "good old days." I'd love to come join you guys on Luclin! My family of alts is on Rodcet Nife (or whatever they are calling it now, Quellious?) so I will truly be starting fresh! I'll get a post up in the intro forum in a few and look for you guys tonight!

Shocked I never got a chance to play EQ1 all that much and always regretted not doing so. I play EQ2 mainly but have always had very a large interest in the lore. I have a station pass with all of the expansions. I am in the middle of creating an EQ2 podcast atm but I think could find the time to play EQ1 each Friday night. I will need to roll a character on the Luclin server. I will try to level him asap. What is the most important class you need right now? I will roll anything if it means I have a chance to go thru the EQ1 content. Plus it will help with the EQ2 Podcast!  Grin

I generally like to play a healer but I would love to roll either a Mage or a Cleric. I really enjoy playing both so which ever would be more useful to the guild I will roll!Since I haven not played much of EQ1 I am looking for some sugrestions to which of these two classes would be most useful.

Well, we could use a cleric to help Aerrik in Group Cool. That way we would have a cleric+[shaman|druid] combo in both groups, and we should be absolutely fine in healing. We also need a melee dps of some sort, preferably not a ranger or rogue, since we have those and I'm trying to even out what people need so we can largely use whatever drops for someone. Naturally, we can't do anything about the plate armor bottleneck, but I think with the new crafted armors, that becomes less of an issue.

Truth is, though, that we're going to be low level for some time, and people should play what they like. Cleric, though, would definitely be appreciated. Clerics are the best healers, and the other priests can focus more on doing damage if they don't have to bear the brunt of healing. More dps = more xp and loot for everyone Smiley

Then a Cleric it is. I will roll him tonight and let you know the character name. I'll work on leveling him as close to lv 15 as I can! I started a Cleric on the Strom server this week so it will be no big deal to re-roll tonight on Luclin.

Hiya Tipa and friends.  I will create a character on Luclin within the next week.  I let my act deactivate about 30 days ago from lack of interest but your new group/guild interests me if you will have me. Will likely create a beastlord or berserker since I dont see one on your roster yet.  If its available his name will be Binxs, if not then it will be some version of Binxs.

Hi Tipa, I've been reading your blog for a while and really liked the idea of get back to EQ1. I've the game for a long time but never liked the idea of solo it, so I'm pretty much a newbie.

I've created a necro (got it to level 5 yesterday) and would love to be part of nostalgia, even if there's no spots for the progressions groups right now.

Thanks! Smiley
