Is this right?  I have no idea what the word in bold is supposed to convert to.  I enjoyed this by the way.  Being in the IT (Software Engineer) field I was able to relate to a lot of it.

zero day vulnerabilities -- the process of immediately exploiting security issues the day they are announced, before a fix can be propagated that closes them.

That makes more sense.  I've never heard or seen the use of "vulns" before so it was rather confusing. :p
